BuddiesHR is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates for in-store data collection at assigned local retailers. The role involves scanning barcodes in multiple store types and delivering accurate data to support client needs.

Positions are on-site in Philadelphia area stores, with weekly hours averaging 4–10 hours and occasional extra hours for special projects. A reliable vehicle and Wi‑Fi are required, and pay ranges from $15 to $16 per hour plus travel reimbursement where applicable.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisles.
• Collect data and 45% sample quantities for specified products.
• Work across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass retailers.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes and complete store tasks.
• Meet weekly deadlines and handle in-store scanning with accuracy.
• Support custom projects that may add 30 minutes to 2 hours per store.
