Job summary

ScanScape is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates to conduct in-store data collection at assigned local retailers weekly for 52 weeks a year. You’ll scan barcodes across grocery, drug, and other store formats using a mobile app.

Required are an 18+ age, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to stand, lift, and move products. Flexibility and independence are key to success.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to stand for long periods and reach products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and reach 6 feet high.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands and limbs.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven, self-starter with reliable Wi‑Fi access.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisles using a mobile app.
• Provide quantity for ~45% of scanned products weekly.
• Complete store-wide display scanning every week, across multiple stores.
• Assist with Custom Projects adding 1–2 hours of work during peak weeks.
• Meet weekly deadlines and maintain data accuracy for clients.
