Job summary

ScanScape is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local retailers weekly and collect in-store data. You will use a mobile app to scan barcodes throughout grocery, convenience, and other stores, with base hours averaging 4–11 per week across all stores and occasional extra hours for special projects.

_Working independently with some travel, you will earn about $16 per hour, with scheduling flexibility and a 401(k) option._

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure standing for long periods, accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and in aisle locations.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes across store areas.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products weekly.
• Complete display scanning across the store every week, can take several hours.
• Support periodic Custom Projects that add 1–2 hours per week per store.
