Job summary

ScanScape is hiring a Retail Scan Associate in Lawrence, KS to visit local stores and collect in-store data. You will scan barcodes using a mobile app, contribute data for hundreds of products, and work on a flexible part-time schedule across grocery, convenience, and other retailers.

Daily tasks include store visits, data entry, and meeting weekly deadlines. This role offers independence, paid travel, and opportunities for 401(k) matching and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan product barcodes.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes across store locations.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products.
• Complete in-store data collection across grocery, convenience, drug, and mass merchandise stores.
• Meet weekly deadlines for client data delivery.
