Job summary

ScanScape is hiring a part-time Retail Scan Associate to visit local stores, scan barcodes, and help improve product performance. You’ll use a mobile app to collect data across grocery, drug, and mass-merchandise retailers, with weekly deadlines and travel paid at your hourly rate.

The role offers consistent part-time hours, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for 401(k) matching and a referral program. Training provided.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Able to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and reach up to 6 feet.
• Able to perform repetitive hand/arm/leg movements.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven and a self-starter.
• Must have reliable Wi-Fi access and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps.
• Collect data that is analyzed to improve the sales performance of products and retailers.
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes across store locations.
• Provide quantity data for about 45% of scanned products when prompted.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and maintain dependable, quality-driven performance.
