Job summary

Scanscape is seeking a part-time Retail Scan Associate to visit assigned local retailers weekly and collect in-store data by scanning barcodes using a mobile app.

You will scan shelves and displays, report quantities for a portion of items, and help with custom projects as needed. The role emphasizes reliability, independence, and flexible scheduling across multiple stores in Overton, TX 75684.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collection by scanning barcodes with a mobile app.
• Scan product barcodes across displays, shelves, and end caps.
• Provide quantities for about 45% of scanned products.
• Meet weekly deadlines and complete Display Scanning for the entire store.
• Assist with Custom Projects, adding 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per store when required.
• Maintain accuracy and dependability in a flexible, independent role.
