Job summary

BuddiesHR is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local grocery, convenience, drug, and mass merchandise stores across Missouri to scan product barcodes and collect data for retail clients. The role offers flexible hours and regular weekly assignments with travel paid at the hourly rate.

Ideal candidates are at least 18 with a valid driver’s license, have a reliable vehicle, and can stand for long periods while lifting up to 25 pounds. Training and app-based scanning are provided.

Qualifications

• 18+ with valid driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle with state minimum auto insurance
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Reach 6 feet and bend/stretch/stoop/stand
• Must have reliable Wi-Fi and be tech savvy
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers weekly
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes in store locations
• Complete display scanning across entire store weekly
• Provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products
• Meet weekly deadlines and maintain data quality
