Job summary

ScanScape is seeking a part-time Retail Scan Associate to perform in-store data collection across local retailers in Des Peres, MO. You will scan barcodes using a mobile app, report product quantities for roughly 45% of items, and complete weekly store-wide scanning tasks.

Flexibility in hours is provided; you may work 4–6 hours weekly with occasional extra hours for special projects. A reliable vehicle and valid license are required, with opportunities for 401(k) matching and referral rewards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with valid driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle with insurance
• Able to stand for long periods and access products in-store
• Lift up to 25 pounds and reach up to 6 feet
• Able to perform repetitive movements
• Detail-oriented and independent worker
• Deadline-driven and reliable
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech savvy
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned retailers weekly, across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merch stores.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes and record quantities for about 45% of scanned products.
• Complete store-wide Display Scanning weekly; may take several hours.
• Engage in Custom Projects adding 1–2 hours in some weeks per store.
• Meet weekly deadlines and deliver accurate data to clients.
• Report to store within described deadlines and work independently.
• Eligible for travel reimbursement at hourly rate (minus first/last 15 minutes).
• Participate in a 401(k) with employer matching contributions and referral program.
