Job summary

Kohl's is seeking an energetic associate to deliver excellent customer service at the point of sale, greet customers, assist with products, operate a cash register, scan items and process payments. You will strive for speed of service while creating a friendly, efficient shopping experience.

You will support inventory accuracy, help train new team members, participate in daily service processes, and uphold Kohl's brand standards.

Qualifications

• Customer service focus with attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability (days, nights, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services, operate cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and handle payments.
• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service per company standards.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy and merchandise disposition practices.
• Contribute to training for new hires on service processes and POS procedures.
• Participate in daily service processes (register cash balancing, changes, replenishment).
