Job summary

Kohl's is seeking a customer‑focused associate to deliver excellent service at the point of sale, greeting customers, processing transactions, and POS duties in a fast-paced retail environment. You will support inventory, training and daily service processes, while upholding Kohl's brand standards and policies.

Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays is preferred; prior retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and ability to multitask.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible availability including holidays, weekends and evenings.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by greeting them and assisting with products and services, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and handle payments.
• Ensure POS and customer service standards are met with courteous, friendly, fast and efficient service.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy and proper merchandise disposition practices.
• Participate in daily service processes (register balancing, change orders, replenishment).
• Assist in training new hires on service processes and POS procedures.
