Norman's Gift Shops, Inc. in Westminster, MD is seeking a Part Time Sales Leader to join our busy Hallmark Gold Crown location.

You will lead the sales floor, deliver a caring, memorable experience to every customer, and partner with management to train staff on products and processes. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, retail experience with supervisory exposure, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Customer CARE approach and a caring team atmosphere on the sales floor.
• Ability to lead, train, and supervise staff when managers are unavailable.
• Flexibility to work events, holidays, evenings and weekends.
• Strong willingness to learn products and use the register system.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Infuse our Customer CARE program into store culture to drive retail sales by genuinely connecting with the customer, building relationships, and earning her business.
• Belief that the customer always comes first and is the most important individual to our business.
• Meet store specific Crown Rewards program enrollment goals on a consistent basis.
• Assist management in developing and training staff of new products and processes.
• Provide supervision and managerial support in the absence of the store manager and assistant store manager.
• Ability to learn and be efficient with our register system to ensure a POS experience for our customers.
• Utilize outstanding selling skills during customer interactions to build sales and drive customer satisfaction.
• Proactively learn retail product knowledge for all merchandise to use when selling to the customer.
• Maintain and restock displays as directed by store management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education

High School diploma, GED, equivalent or higher.
