Job summary

TPS Group Holdings, including The Paper Store, Wakefield, RI, is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to provide a memorable shopping experience. You will use the G.U.E.S.T. service approach to greet customers, understand needs, explain product benefits, and upsell complementary items.

You will ring up at the POS, stock shelves, and maintain store appearance while following company policies. Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; prior specialty retail experience preferred

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering world class customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient in operating POS systems and basic computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Act as TPS Champion by delivering World Class Service.
• Greet and welcome every customer warmly and with enthusiasm.
• Understand customer needs by asking open-ended questions.
• Explain product features and benefits in relation to the customers’ needs.
• Suggest additional items to build onto sales and assist at the POS.
• Maintain merchandising standards and store appearance.
