Job summary

Fenix Outdoor's Fjällräven store in Del Mar is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to welcome guests and share our sustainability-focused mission. You will help guests pick the right gear, answer questions with product knowledge, and contribute to a friendly, informative shopping experience.

You will handle sales tasks, assist with restocking, maintain a neat and safe floor, and participate in local events that connect customers with the brand’s outdoor lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations including cash handling and restocking.
• Maintain a clean, inviting sales floor and follow safety practices.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming, values-driven environment.

Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences

• Use our GUIDE service program to listen, educate, and help guests find the right gear for their needs


• Build trust through thoughtful questions, product knowledge, and genuine connection

Drive Sales & Support Store Operations

• Support sales and conversion by helping guests make confident purchasing decisions


• Assist with daily operations including cash handling, restocking, and maintaining a clean, inviting sales floor


• Follow safety, security, and loss prevention practices

Be Part of a Collaborative Team

• Work closely with teammates to create a supportive, welcoming environment


• Participate in training to stay current on products, fit, and service expectations
