Job summary

Omni Fort Worth Hotel is seeking dedicated hospitality professionals with a guest service mindset to join our retail team. Schedule: Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, 12:00 PM-8:00 PM, in our downtown Fort Worth shop.

Ideal candidates bring prior retail experience, strong customer service, and the ability to stand for long periods while delivering a warm welcome and high-quality service to guests and visitors.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred.
• GED or high school equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to move up to 25 lbs and handle objects with hands.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Handle money, including opening and closing the shop.
• Knowledge of POS system, shipping, transfer forms, and hard checks.
• Must stand for long periods and deliver exceptional customer service and sales.
• Meet Moments of Service standards, greet customers with a smile and warm welcome.
• Ensure merchandise is unpacked, folded, or hung and placed in the correct location by next day.
• Break down and dispose of empty merchandise boxes daily.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and dust-free shop and work area daily.
• Coordinate weekly requests for cleaning or office supplies and merchandise.
• Know the property locations and daily activities for guests and families.

The Omni Fort Worth Hotel is searching for dedicated hospitality professionals with guest service mentality to join our extraordinary team!

Overview

Schedule: Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, 12:00 PM-8:00 PM.

• Responsible for the handling of money, including the opening and closing of the shop.
• Knowledge of P.O.S. system, shipping, transfer forms, and hard checks.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and have exceptional customer service and sales skills.
• Must meet ALL Moments of Service standards, including greeting customers within 10 feet with a smile and a sincere welcome.
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction while meeting all company and personal goals for the retail shop.
• All merchandise delivered should be unpacked, folded, or hung according to quality standards and placed in the appropriate location by the beginning of the next day.
• All empty merchandise boxes should be broken down and taken to the trash daily.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and dust-free shop and work area on a daily basis.
• All restrooms and trash cans, both inside and outside of the retail shop, should be cleaned and emptied daily.
• Responsible for weekly requests for cleaning or office supplies and any needed merchandise.
• Maintain knowledge of the property, including restaurant and pool locations, as well as daily activities available for guests and their children.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred.
• GED or high school equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally extend arms and hands, seize, grasp, and turn objects with hands.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
