Job summary

Goodwill of Central Illinois seeks a part-time Retail Associate in Washington, IL. The role supports store management by performing cashiering, donation processing, and various producer duties across textiles, wares, eCommerce, and eBooks while maintaining store presentation.

Responsibilities include handling cash, sorting items for quality, packing for ClickGoodwill shipments, shelving, and keeping the sales floor clean and organized; prior experience not required but attention to detail is

Responsibilities

• Cashier: Rings up customer orders, maintains a balanced drawer, and follows all cash handling procedures and protocols.
• Textiles or Wares Producer: Sorts product to identify quality and value and properly barbs, tags, and hangs textiles or wares; produces 100 items per hour for wares/85 items per hour for textiles.
• Donation Door Attendant: Accepts donations from customers and maintains a clean and clear donation door; loads and unloads trucks and uses heavy equipment as needed.
• eCommerce Producer: Develops a keen eye to identify items of value for ClickGoodwill and packs curated products onto pallets for ClickGoodwill.
• e-Books Producer: Scans books and decides what is sent to ClickGoodwill or displayed at the store; prints inventory sheets and packs totes.
• Rack and Cart Runner: Checks racks/carts for quality and value; merchandising and restocking; updates daily production tracking sheet.
