Job summary

SMCP – Sandro, Maje, Claudie Pierlot, Fursac is seeking an Operations Associate in New York’s Meatpacking District for a part-time role. The position focuses on back-of-house processes, inventory control, and sales support to ensure smooth customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior sales support experience including POS, merchandising paperwork, cycle counts, shipment processing, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Administrative / Merch paperwork processing, including merchandise check-in, shipment/stock processing, store-to-store transfers, markdowns, RTVs/liquidation.
• Visual merchandising: floor sets/moves, replenishment, maintenance.
• Asset protection: shortage strategies, inventory control, cycle counts, physical inventory prep and execution.
• Safety measures and stockroom organization.
• Sales floor support: POS operations and greeting customers.

Responsibilities

As Operations Associate, your impact will be huge in ensuring operational efficiency in highly complex operational stores, with all aspects of the “back of the house” to facilitate the customer experience. It will involve strong attention to detail, leading the back of house team, thinking outside the box, and most importantly being passionate about sales operations. Some of the important responsibilities associated with this critical role are as follows:
