Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Merchandise Manager in Livermore, CA to drive merchandising and store operations. You will lead planograms, pricing, promotions, and in-store execution while ensuring a customer-ready environment.

You will assist the Store Manager, manage truck processing, inventory routines, and visual standards, and coach teammates to uphold SOPs and company programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
• Lead truck execution processes, ensuring timely unloading and efficient flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization, aligning staffing with business needs.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized store environment and manage inventory control.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through structured onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
