Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores and scan product barcodes on displays and aisles, including end caps. The role involves weekly data collection across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise retailers, with travel payments included.

You’ll use a mobile app to scan items, with base hours averaging 4–9 per week plus additional hours for special projects. Independent work and reliable Wi‑Fi are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and reach 6 feet in the air.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms and legs.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech savvy.

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes in various store locations using a mobile app.
• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers weekly.
• Complete display scanning across the store, including aisles and stock locations.
• Assist with custom projects that add 1–2 hours of work in select weeks.
• Meet weekly deadlines and deliver accurate data to clients.
