Job summary

Scanscape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local retailers and conduct in-store data collection each week for 52 weeks, across grocery, drug, and mass merchandise stores. You will use a mobile app to scan barcodes and report quantities for about half of scanned items.

You must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and Wi‑Fi. Hours are flexible and may include extra projects; compensation is $16/hour with paid travel, sick time, and 401(k) with employer

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated local retailers each week to scan barcodes on displays and in aisles.
• Use a downloadable mobile app to scan barcodes across locations.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products.
• Complete Display Scanning weekly, may take several hours.
• Assist on Custom Projects adding 30 minutes to 2 hours in some weeks.
