ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local grocery, convenience, drug, and mass merchants weekly for data collection using a barcode-scanning app. Base hours average 6–15 per week per store, with occasional 1–2 extra hours for special projects; scheduling varies by store size and workload.

Applicants must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and access to Wi‑Fi. Some retail experience and a high school diploma or GED are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure standing for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned retailers weekly to scan barcodes using a mobile app.
• Complete in-store data collections across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merch stores.
• Meet weekly deadlines; contribute to Custom Projects adding up to 2 hours per week per store.
• Report to supervisors with accurate data and maintain scheduling discipline.
