Job summary

ScanScape is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit selected stores weekly, scanning product barcodes and collecting data to improve retail performance. You will use a mobile app to scan items, with about 45% of products requiring quantity input.

Flexible hours and travel are part of the role, with a high level of independence. Positions offer 10–12 hours per week across stores, plus 1–2 extra hours for special projects, higher in Jan–Jun.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers weekly.
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes.
• Scan barcodes in various store locations and aisles.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products when required.
• Meet weekly deadlines and deliver reliable, quality data to clients.
