Job summary

Family Dollar in Stanley, North Carolina is hiring a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions at the register, restock merchandise, and help keep the store clean and welcoming.

This part-time role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior customer service experience. You will follow instructions, lift 30–50 lbs, and maintain safety while delivering friendly, professional service to customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks, stock replenishment per standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain store cleanliness including restrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
