Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our West Bend store. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, and handle sales transactions at the register while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor.

You will keep the store well-stocked, unload and stock merchandise, ensure cleanliness and safety, and support leaders with daily tasks. This part-time position offers flexible hours and opportunities to grow within retail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
