Job summary

Family Dollar LLC in Deer Lodge, MT is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers, process transactions at the register, and keep the store tidy and well stocked. This part-time role involves assisting with unloading merchandise and stocking while delivering friendly service.

You will support a safe, welcoming shopping environment, follow store procedures, and contribute to excellent customer experiences. Flexible hours and on-the-job training are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and meet physical demands of the role.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
