Job summary

Family Dollar in Norcross, GA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales transactions, and keep the store clean and stocked with merchandise.

Responsibilities include unloading shipments, stock replenishment, and maintaining a safe, friendly environment for customers and teammates. Part-time opportunity, with duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking and standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, and trash areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
