Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Johnson City, TN is seeking a Part-time Customer Service Associate to provide a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, process sales at the register, stock shelves, unload merchandise, and keep the store clean and presentable.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and prior customer service experience preferred. You must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for extended periods, while maintaining professional, respectful interactions

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms, floors, trash, and presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
