Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Kingsport, TN is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help with stocking and unloading merchandise, while keeping the store neat and secure.

Strong communication, reliability, and teamwork are essential as you support operations across departments. Training is provided, and the role offers flexible shifts in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
