Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Waynesboro, TN is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and safe while upholding company standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or customer service experience. You must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods during shifts. This role reports to store leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, kneeling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms, floors, trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
