Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Donegal, PA store and deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, process sales transactions at the register, maintain cleanliness, stock merchandise, and help unload trucks as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Lifts up to 50 lbs and stands/walks for extended periods.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Reliable and friendly with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and help with merchandise recovery.
• Unload shipments and restock shelves as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
