Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide a positive shopping experience in Detroit, MI. You will assist customers, operate the register, help stock shelves, and ensure store cleanliness and safety.

The role requires strong customer service, basic math, and the ability to lift heavy items. Prior retail experience is preferred, and the position offers flexible hours and a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical duties.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
