Job summary

Dollar Tree in Minnesota is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, process transactions at the register, and help keep the store clean and organized.

Responsibilities include stocking shelves, unloading merchandise, protecting cash and assets, and ensuring a safe, courteous environment for customers and team members. Part-time position with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and presentation of areas.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors.
