Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Front Royal, VA, is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, manage transactions at the cash register, and help keep the store clean and organized.

You will stock shelves, unload merchandise, and restock as needed while maintaining a safe, friendly environment. Prior retail or service experience is preferred, and the role can be part-time with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
