Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience in Chantilly, VA. You will assist customers with questions, operate a cash register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and organized.

The role includes unloading merchandise, restocking, maintaining a safe and friendly environment, and performing other duties as assigned. Part-time hours are available at this location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, and all areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
