Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, stock shelves, and help maintain store safety and appearance.

The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in a fast-paced retail environment. The position emphasizes strong customer service, reliable communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets in-store.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, and overall presentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
