Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of New York LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You’ll assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, unload trucks, and maintain a clean store while upholding safety and a friendly, professional environment.

The role is part-time at our Honeoye Falls, NY location. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and prior retail/customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment with friendly interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
