Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Pelham, NH is seeking a part-time retail associate. You will assist customers, process transactions, and keep the store stocked and tidy.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, maintaining a safe, friendly environment, and supporting leadership with daily store tasks.

The role requires excellent customer service, strong communication, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods; prior retail/food service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
