Job summary

Dollar Tree in Littleton, New Hampshire is seeking a Customer Service Associate to assist customers, process sales at the register, and keep the store clean and stocked. The role requires ability to lift 30-50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

The position is part-time and offers opportunities to develop customer service skills in a fast-paced retail environment with emphasis on accuracy and friendliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
