Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Pooler, GA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions, stock replenishment, unloading trucks, and keep the store clean and welcoming.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior customer service experience. You will work on a part-time, on-site schedule with opportunities for growth, and participate in our health, retirement, and educational benefit programs.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as described.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
