Job summary

Dollar Tree in Brunswick, GA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help keep shelves stocked and merchandise replenished.

You will maintain a clean, safe store, assist with unloading merchandise, and interact with customers and teammates in a friendly, professional manner. This part-time role offers flexible hours and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks.
• Keep the store clean, including bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring areas are neat and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned.
