Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, stock shelves, and help keep the store clean and safe.

The position requires a high school diploma, prior customer service experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong communication, problem-solving, and following instructions are essential. This is a part-time role with opportunities for growth in a national retailer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, bending, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms included, and ensure neat areas.
• Additional duties as assigned.
