Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. Duties include assisting customers, handling transactions, stocking merchandise, unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and proven customer service experience. The role requires physical effort, strong communication, and the ability to follow instructions; part-time opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, lifting).
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean, restrooms stocked, floors swept and mopped, and areas neat.
• Other duties as assigned.
