Job summary

FLOWERS.com Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Retail/Customer Service Associate to join our Flowerama store. You will deliver friendly, efficient service to customers and help with everyday store tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Weekend and evening shifts are included, with pay based on experience. No formal floral design degree required, but enthusiasm for flowers and customer care is essential. Training and growth opportunities are available within the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong telephone skills and ability to establish rapport.
• Familiarity with florist business helpful but not mandatory.
• Floral design experience helpful but not mandatory.
• Ability to work as part of a team while completing tasks in a timely manner.
• Typing Ability (30 WPM).
• Point of Sales experience is a plus.
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication ability.
• Ability to lift 40lbs unassisted.
• Ability to stand up to 8 hours daily, and up to 10 hours seasonally.
• Commitment to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced environment with extended hours during holidays.

Flowerama is looking for hardworking, upbeat, dependable individuals for day, evening, and weekend shifts. Our Florist and Gift store is seeking qualified applicants who have strong customer service and/or retail experience.

Pay is based on experience, and we promote from within our organization as much as possible.

Requirements

Requirements/Qualifications:

Please note that during busy holiday times, hour of operation will be extended to meet the needs of our customers. Employees are also expected to work extended hours during Valentine's Day and Mother's Day weeks, including Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.
