Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team in Chino Hills, CA. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, and help unload shipments, while maintaining store cleanliness and a welcoming environment.

The role requires good communication, organizational skills, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Part-time hours are available, with opportunities to grow within the store team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at a cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
