Job summary

Dollar Tree in Baltimore is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a high-quality shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, manage transactions at the cash register, and help with stocking and merchandising.

You'll maintain a clean, safe store environment, follow instructions, and interact professionally with customers, associates, and leaders. This is a part-time role with opportunities to grow within the store.

Qualifications

• HS diploma preferred.
• Retail or service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while interacting with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
