Job summary

Flowerama in Cedar Rapids, IA is hiring for positions in floral and gift sales to provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience. We welcome day, evening, and weekend shifts with open hours that cover Monday–Friday 7:30am–7pm, Saturday 8am–7pm, and Sunday 10am–4pm. During busy holidays, hours extend to meet customer needs.

• Strong telephone skills and ability to establish rapport with customers.
• Familiarity with florist business helpful but not mandatory.
• Floral Design experience helpful but not mandatory
• Ability to work as part of a team while completing tasks in a timely manner
• Typing Ability (30 WPM)
• Point of Sales experience is a plus
• Strong communications and strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication ability
• Ability to lift 40lbs unassisted
• Ability to stand up to 8 hours daily, and up to 10 hours seasonally
• Commitment to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced creative environment. We are open Monday - Friday 7:30am-7pm, Saturday 8am-7pm, and Sunday 10am-4pm.
