Job summary

Family Dollar in Dillon, MT is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock shelves, and keep the store neat and safe.

You’ll participate in unloading merchandise, restocking, and maintaining clean bathrooms and floors, while providing friendly, professional service to customers and team members. Part time schedule available.

Qualifications

• HS diploma preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates and leaders
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash disposal
• Other duties as assigned
