Job summary

Family Dollar in Red Lodge, MT is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, and help maintain store appearance and safety.

This role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. You will stock, unload shipments, and ensure clean, presentable store conditions while delivering courteous service to customers and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and handle frequent movement.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
