Job summary

Family Dollar in Red Oak, GA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience by assisting customers, handling transactions, and keeping the store clean and organized.

You will respond to questions, stock shelves, unload merchandise, and maintain a positive, safe environment while following store procedures. Part-time position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail/service experience highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and read operational documents
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and endure frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required
• Strong organizational and communication skills required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Process sales transactions at the register
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
• Keep store clean, restock bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, take out trash
• Perform other duties as assigned
