Job summary

Dollar Tree is hiring a Customer Service Associate to provide friendly service, assist customers, and process transactions efficiently. You will help keep the store stocked, maintain a clean and safe environment, and support merchandise receiving and unloading as needed.

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or customer service experience. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and meet demands of walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks, stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
