Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team in Macomb, IL. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

You’ll also unload trucks, replenish shelves, and contribute to a positive shopping experience with friendly, professional interactions. Requirements include a high school diploma (preferred) and prior customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
